| Details: | I received a call from a resident who owns a house that is supplied by the south spring, he said they did not have water. He has a 500 g storage tank under his house that is also out of water. After talking with the DRC Charles, I learned that the south spring is not keeping up with demand as the homes that are serviced by s spring have become vacation rentals on almost every weekend. There is also one home that will dump the hot tub between rentals. Charles has developed a contingency plan which includes a new capital improvement plan, new SDCs to fund the resulting cap impros and a water cons plan. He has also located a water supplier that can bring in water when needed. He has notified customers to conserve. The other issue is that someone who is building a home in that area had broken the line so there was severe water leak. | ||
