| Details: | SUMMARY: Loss of pressure, asked the system to issue a boil water notice and do some follow-up testing to assure water is safe to drink. DETAILS: Over the weekend the system experienced a large usage of water which affected the reservoir level. At one point it was lower than 2 and the operator thinks they found and repaired one leak. Due to the lack of refilling of the reservoir it is likely that there is another or multiple leaks within the distribution system. The reservoir is refilling at approx 1.5 a day (7000gal/ft) , the system is using approx. 30,000gal/day. This time of year the system should realistically only be using approx. 8,000gal/day. ACTION NEEDED: Testing to assure the boil water notice can be lifted--loss of pressure. The Grant for upgrades to the system have been sent and are in the process of signing, construction on the project should start in Summer of 2016. | ||
