Details: | SUMMARY: Four LCR Excursions for December 2015 and discussions on DBP issues DETAILS: I received an alert on 1-21-16 for 4 excursions of not meeting the minimum pH of 7.1 on 12/09 - 12/11, 2015 and again on 12/19/15. At no time during December 2015 did the minimum pH drop below 6.8. The pH was at or above 7.1 the remainder of the month and was at 8.3 by the end of the month. System is allowed 9 excursions in a 6-month period and the total number of excursions for the most recent 6-month period from 7/1/15 - 12/31/15 is 4. I sent an e-mail to Jim Anderson on 1/21/16 about the excursions and spoke to Preston Polesek on 1/22/16. We discusssed the pH excursions and their plan to resolve the DBP issues. I said we were willing to allow time for the enhanced flushing to work, but requested that a written flushing program be developed. Preston said they would begin working on its development. Preston had Jim Anderson call me about the excursions. Jim called and left a message and, after reviewing the results, I decided the matter could wait until next Tuesday, since Jim was off for the weekend. I called and left Preston and Jim messages to that effect. ACTION NEEDED: Follow-up discussions on the excursions and DBP flushing program to take place the week of 1/25/16. | ||
