| Details: | SUMMARY: Postive E. coli routine DETAILS: Buck notified us that the routine monthly coliform sample collected 2/2/16 at 26600 Sandlake Rd came back positive for total coliform and E. coli. Four repeat samples will be collected today with results sometime tomorrow. There has been no interruption in surface water filtration or disinfection that he is aware of and the chlorine residual was normal (0.7 ppm) at the time the sample was collected. He believes the sample was collected properly, however the bottle used may have been part of a batch that got wet when a cold pack melted and tore inside a cooler. I recommended that he obtain fresh bottle before collecting repeats. ACTION NEEDED: Collect 4 repeats today, get results tomorrow on Friday 2/5/16 and respond accordingly. If any of the repeats is total or E. coli positive, a boil notice must be issued within 24 hours. UPDATE: Buck notified us friday 2/5 that all repeats were absent for both total coliform and E. coli, therefore no further action is required at this time. | ||
