| Details: | SUMMARY: Boil water advisory rescinded 4-16-15 DETAILS: Following confirmed e-coli sampling in SRC-AA Nelson Spring on December 8, 2014, Hopewell Water Company was placed on a boil water advisory on December 11, 2014. 4-log disinfection was verified by HBH consulting engineers (the OHA SRF Technical Assistance Circuit Rider) based on a site visit conducted by HBH on 4/15/15. Based on this verification, a minimum entry point chlorine residual was established at 0.8 mg/l and the water system began compliance monitoring to demonstrate 4-log disinfection. Following a site visit conducted on April 16, 2015 to verify the spring collection system was not subject to further contamination, the boil water notice was rescinded effective April 16th, 2015. ACTION NEEDED: System to continue to meet an entry point chlorine residual of 0.8 mg/l and conduct compliance monitoring demonstrating 4-log viral inactivation. | ||
