| Details: | SUMMARY: E. coli positive sample from 3/1/2016 DETAILS: Left voice mails for Glenna regarding the next steps for the water system. She also spoke with Jay MacPherson regarding the next steps. She said that the labs were closed today, so no repeats could be taken until Monday. I let her know that they will need to post a boil water notice (I emailed her the template). Then if they want to shock chlorinate, emailed her steps for effectively doing this (4.0 mg/L for 24 hours). After waiting 24 hours after flushing, they may take the repeat samples. If they come back clear, the system can lift the boil notice. ACTION NEEDED: The system needs to 1) post the boil water notice, 2) shock chlorinate the system, 3) take 4 repeat samples after shock chlorination, 4) take 5 temporary routine samples next month (April 2016). | ||
