| Details: | SUMMARY: E-coli Positive for Assessment Sample Date 12/15/15 DETAILS: The operator contacted me to let me know that the assessment sample at the field well was e-coli positive. This well has been offline since August when it originally came back with a source e-coli. They were sampling the main well & decided to try this well again to see if it was still producing e-coli. The field well is disconnected from the rest of the system & the operator is taking steps to have the well properly abandoned. They are getting bids from well drillers to abandon this well & protentially drill another well to back up the main well. ACTION NEEDED: The operator said she would let me know when the well gets abandoned & when a new well will be drilled. I let her know that a new well needs to go through plan review. | ||
