| Details: | SUMMARY: Sampling Schedule Changes due to Population, DBP reduction, and Well #11 (SRC-AE) DETAILS: I wrote a letter to the Alan Mustain with the City of Dundee to outline monitoring changes due to an increase in population to 3,356, which requires 4 monthly coliform samples, 20 lead and copper tap samples, and 2 SOC samples taken in consecutive quarters every 3 years. A DBP reduction was also granted to now require a single dual sample set (1 sample analyzed for both TTHM and HAA5) at 1 site (2DBP-02 at 23310 Fulquartz) in December each year. The letter also outlined additional water quality parameter (WQP) sampling prior to putting the new well #11 into service to evaluate corrosion potential. The letter then outlined increased lead and copper tap sampling from 40 sites in two consecutive 6-month rounds of sampling, additional WQP sampling, two more consecutive quarterly samples of radium 226/228 taken at EP-A, and annual VOC/SOC sampling at EP-A once the new well #11 is placed into service. ACTION NEEDED: City to follow sampling instructions in January 21, 2016 letter, summarized in the details above. | ||
