Details:	SUMMARY: Water System Survey Follow-up DETAILS: Randy was called in response to his 3/24/16 letter outlining a corrective action plan to (1) address deficiencies noted at the time of the 2015 water system survey and (2) put surface water treatment in place. Discussed that terms outlined for (1) are acceptable. For (2) advised that it would be preferable to have the system engineer (PE) draw surface water treatment plans to provide a time frame to complete the project (i.e. prepare plans, complete plan review process with state DWS, process to receive USDA funding, RFP process, get contractor on-site with all necessary components and complete construction work). Randy stated he would approach the PE who would be attending the Bridge WD 4/4/16 board meeting and request insight to outline a reasonable time frame to complete the work. Optimistic thinking would allow Randy to submit a time frame to CHW for work by 4/5/16 close of business (COB). If PE insights offered no appreciable difference compared to the 3/24/16 letter (or if no updated schedule is submitted by COB 4/5) I would take the 3/24 letter at face value.Noted: (1) time frame flexibility needed in contracting process & (2) Bridge WD is banking on receiving USDA funding to provide surface water treatment. ACTION NEEDED: Have PE evaluate time frame to complete construction process and submit update.
