| Details: | SUMMARY: CAP Submitted - Not Approved by HRC DETAILS: A Corrective Action Plan (CAP) was due by 3/25/16. A letter was sent by Gordon Zimmerman (Cascade Locks City Administrator) to Ian Stromquist, REHS, via e-mail. A copy of this letter may be viewed upon request at HRCHD.Hood River County Health Department responded with a new letter reaffirming that a corrective action plan must be submitted as soon as possible. A new deadline was created on 4/29/16. A copy of this letter may be viewed upon request at HRCHD. ACTION NEEDED: ‘City Of Cascade Locks’ public water system needs to submit a corrective action plan to Hood River County Health Department by April 29th, 2016, which contains the following information: (1) Preferred method of corrosion control-- and (2) The date by which formal engineered plans will be submitted for formal review. ‘City Of Cascade Locks’ public water system must concurrently begin: (1) A (once every six-month period) lead & copper monitoring schedule-- and (2) Pursue the development of engineered (shovel ready) plans for corrosion control. | ||
