| Details: | SUMMARY: Total Coliform Positive DETAILS: Routine sample on 15 Aug. tested positive for Total Coliform. Retest on 19 Aug. positive for downstream, upstream and repeat. Raw water sample was negative. Site visit on 22 Aug. at 10am to meet with chief engineer Kris. Examined pump, well, pressure tank and cistern. Tested free chlorine level at far end of system (otter) = 1.4 ppm and in restaurant = 1.8 ppm. All drinking fountains turned off and post mix soda is off. Provided handout for public notice and response fact sheet for licensed facilities. Discussed plan of action and retest requirements. ACTION NEEDED: Finish running chlorine through and out of system and take 4 resamples. Dump ice in ice maker and clean thoroughly. Post mix soda is off line till water tests are absent. Post public notice. Requires 4 routine samples next quarter. | ||
