| Details: | SUMMARY: Routine sample E. coli+ DETAILS: Glenna had not heard from the lab that their sample tested EC+. I told her to take the 4 repeats- 1 at the same location, 1 upstream, 1 downstream, and a 4th somewhere else in the distribution. I asked her if she could think of anything with the water system that might explain these results last month and this month. All she could say is that in the past she has periodically scrubbed out the faucets/aerators, etc., with bleach and it is time to do that again. If any repeats are positive, the new coliform rules that became effective last month will mean that on on-site investigation is required (Level 2). ACTION NEEDED: Await results of repeat samples to determine whether there is a E. coli MCL violation, which would require a Tier 1 Boil notice and a Level 2 investigation. | ||
