| Details: | SUMMARY: Technical Assistance - TCR DETAILS: Mr. Lira wrote (via e-mail):"…can our on-site hosts use the shower in the restroom while we have an active TC+?.."We responded (via e-mail):"…The short answer to your question is ‘Yes’-- your campground host may take a shower. Reason: TC+ is no longer considered an MCL violation (it no longer even requires a public notification). We are only concerned about E-Coli+ now. We want the TC+ to be fixed somehow in order to preclude environmental contamination in the finished drinking water because environmental contamination may lead to more dangerous contaminants (like E-Coli). Remember, TC+ has always been an indicator of environmental contamination somewhere in the system-- it has never been a public health hazard on its own…" ACTION NEEDED: None. | ||
