| Details: | SUMMARY: Follow up on lead and copper tap sampling DETAILS: After phone calls and meetings with City public works staff over the past couple of months, DWS has approved starting the two six-month rounds of 40 lead and copper tap samples on July 1st, instead of January 1st, 2016, after the City requested the amending of the schedule in writing today. City requests additional time to adequately identify the group of 20 sample sites according to the tiered selection criteria outlined in DWS rules. City has identified the required half, or 20 sample sites, served by the lead goosenecks. ACTION NEEDED: City to identify remaining 20 lead and copper sample sites according to tiered selection criteria, and complete EPA 141-A forms documenting any change in tap sample sites for DWS to review, prior to sampling. City to complete 1st round of 40 tap samples between July 1 and December 31st, 2016. DWS to provide support. 10/21/16 update: DWS approves of Citys sites for at least 40 tap samples as outlined in the 141-A forms received. | ||
