| Details: | SUMMARY: Arsenic Alert DETAILS: I called Mike regarding the routine 2nd quarter arsenic test. The sample result is 0.0342 mg/l. Mike was unaware of the high result and said he would follow up with the tech that collected it and visit the system to make sure there is not a problem with the arsenic treatment equipment. Mike called me back on 7/14 and said there were no problems with the Tx but there was a mix up with the sample collection. The WS recently installed a new raw water tap at the well (as required by a recent water system survey) and the arsenic sample was taken from this new tap (untreated raw water). Mike now has the taps labeled (treated, untreated) and has collected a new sample from the treated tap (submitted to the lab on 7/14). ACTION NEEDED: Follow up on arsenic test from treated water tap. | ||
