| Details: | SUMMARY: TC Positive Alert Response DETAILS: All three repeat sampoles collected on 7/19/16 tested positive for total coliform. The source sample at the well tested absent. Spoke with Dick. He thinks there may be a biofilm issue in the distribution lines. They are planning to chlorinate the reservoir and distribution piping. I reviewed the AWWA standard for chlorinating distribution lines with him, including the 4 ppm dosage recommendation. ACTION NEEDED: PWS to batch chlorinate the system, collect three routine samples in August. | ||
