| Details: | SUMMARY: System Consolidation DETAILS: The Lawson Acres water system supplies water to approximately 75 people through 27 connections. The water system has an aging package filtration plant which treats water from Cow Creek. Sodium hypochlorite is added to the treatment system prior to filtration. The water plant is aging and has some serious deficiencies. In addition, operation of the plant takes significant effort. The water system is revisiting possible connection to the City of Riddle as a solution for the long term needs of the Lawson Acres customers. The City water system is less than a mile from the Lawson Acres west tank. Contacted the City of Riddle and discussed connection requirements. Reviewed intertie alignment. Corresponded with IFA regarding funding options. ACTION NEEDED: Assist with further planning or funding applications, as needed. | ||
