| Details: | SUMMARY: Triggered source samples TC positive (no e-coli) DETAILS: This alert generated 11/30/15 was addressed under 11/25/15 contact report, which states as follows: Following a total coliform positive routine distribution system sample taken 11-18-15, a triggered source sample needed to be taken from each of wells 1-5 from the City of Dayton. Triggered source assessment samples were taken from 9 sources in use including wells 2-5. There were 2 total coliform positive source samples from the Blue Bird Spring and Well #8, but no e-coli. Both sources have approved 4-log viral disinfection treatment. 5 temporary routine samples also needed to be taken from the City of Lafayette in the month of December 2015. All 5 routine samples taken in December were absent of coliform bacteria. Provided all temporary and triggered samples are absent of bacteria, normal sampling could resume beginning in January 2016. Normal routine sampling began in January 2016. ACTION NEEDED: System to report detections in Consumer Confidence Report. No further action needed. | ||
