| Details: | SUMMARY: CT calcs, UV and DBP update DETAILS: Sent Jim an email 8/16/16 with a scan showing several days on the June treatment report listing erroneous CT Required amounts, though the error was on the side of caution-- they still met the required CT. Also per his request, emailed him the CT Tables, part of a Powerpoint on how to fill out the monthly report and use the tables, and another instructions sheet. Jim plans to hold a training soon for all who record these daily numbers. On 8/17/16, Jim said that their UV Reactor would be installed the following week, but we had no record of receiving the plan review materials. By 8/22/16, the most recent TTHM and HAA5 sample results had been entered, and I emailed him the new running averages. The HAA5 RAA is still over the MCL. Notified Jim that another Tier 2 Public Notice is required. ACTION NEEDED: Belloni Boys Ranch staff notified their contractor Dave Funderburk who submitted the UV Plan Review materials the same day, 8/17/16. Await submission of Tier 2 Public Notice for ongoing DBP violation. Perhaps the new UV treatment will allow them to reduce the use of chlorine, which may help reduce DBP formation as well. | ||
