| Details: | SUMMARY: E-mail Sent - WSS Deficiency Follow-up Corrective Action Plan DETAILS: The operator has proposed a repair method to permanently resolve the outstanding spring-box – water-tight-seal issue. They plan to modify the hatch lid using angle-iron, glue and a gasket. We believe that the method has the potential to resolve the problem. We sent the operator an e-mail stating that they may proceed with the repair. ACTION NEEDED: The repair shall ensure that the spring box is water-tight. The operator shall submit a timeline for when the repairs will occur. It is possible that the repairs will not occur until spring/summer of 2017 (due to pending inclement winter weather). | ||
