Details:	SUMMARY: Routine total coliform positive samples DETAILS: Emailed Frank on Wednesday Sept. 21st about three routine coliform positive samples collected on Sept. 20th. He informed me the next day that Well 1/4 (SRC-CA) was only source in use at the time of the positive samples, and repeat (upstream, downstream, original) and source samples are being collected. On Friday Sept. 23rd, spoke with Frank and seven repeat samples collected Sept. 22nd were total coliform positive. The source sample was absent. He thinks the coliform issue may be related to the storage tank level dropping below normal recently when communication between the well and storage failed. This issue has since been fixed, however the aged water sent to distribution may still be causing problems. Progress to install the new storage tank and well is moving forward. Once the new infrastructure is finished in early November, the old storage and Well 2 (SRC-AA) will be taken offline. We discuss the coliform investigation, disinfection residual maintenance requirement and corrective action. ACTION NEEDED: Follow-up on coliform investigation and establish corrective action plan.
