| Details: | SUMMARY: Complaint DETAILS: Complaint that water had been used from the pool for drinking water - about a week ago. Also noted has 9 violation pts.Mack said they used pool water for showers/sinks in rooms and provided customers with bottled water for drinking. He said he had a leak in water line and there were no water haulers to respond to bring water. ACTION NEEDED: Advised never to use pool water to fill reservoir. He needs to contact a water hauler that would be able to respond in an emergency. He could have offered refunds to customers. The water has been back on for several days and is chlorinated prior to reservoir. Pool water has long gone. Advised him to take chlorine residual samples 2 times weekly. Staff to go out 10/5 to investigate further. Reviewed violation status and sent email detailing the monitoring and samples needed. Will also provide revised coliform sampling plan for Mack and have him complete this during visit. Mack is to contact Corey Benzel who takes water samples for various businesses in Rice Hill. He had agreed to take the samples at Motel 6 as well. | ||
