| Details: | SUMMARY: on-site visit-- distribution of boil water notice DETAILS: An on-site visit was made to the mobile home park by Bill Goss and Amy Word. Several copies of the monthly 4-log residual report were given to a relative of the person assisting with daily operations of the water system. The free chlorine residual was checked at the hose bib next to the well building and it measured at 0.5ppm. An inspection of the well building showed it still has a major leak in one of the contact tanks and the chlorination products used were not NSF approved. Boil notices were distributed to the homeowners or placed by the front doors of the residences. Contact was also made with the owner of the antique store adjoinging the park as they are also served by the water at Locust. ACTION NEEDED: System to be submitting the disinfection (chlorine residual) reports monthly using the correct form. Residual is to be measured daily and recorded on said form. System will remain on the boil notice until conditions of the administrative order have been met. A new boil notice is to be distributed quarterly until resolved. | ||
