| Details: | SUMMARY: Boil Water Follow-Up DETAILS: Nancy called. She was disappointed that the East Oregonian had published her personal phone number, and asked if that information had been given to the paper by DWS. I replied that yes, we had given copies of the boil notice that included her number to the EO and the Valley Herald, but had not expected her number to be published. Nancy asked if we (DWS) were trying to make her shut down the park. I replied no, that we were working on obtaining financing for a new well for the park. I also clarified that she had not been fined/assessed civil penalties yet, and asked Nancy to check her PO box for the settlement document that was mailed last Friday. I explained its provisions, and told her that if she agreed to the settlement and carried through on it she could avoid being penalized. I also told her that a letter explaining what needs to be done in order to lift the boil order was mailed on Friday. ACTION NEEDED: System to take actions specified in the Administrative Order, review settlement document. | ||
