| Details: | SUMMARY: FUNDING ASSISTANCE - IFA SIPP LOI DETAILS: The Beaver Water District is located in the unincorporated town of Beaver in Tillamook County with 214 services and serves an approximate population of 600. There are an additional 22 services which are committed to by the BWD, for a total of 236. The existing water system, especially the water treatment plant is aging. A water master plan was completed. Preliminary funding discussions with the IFA and USDA revealed the need for additional planning efforts, specifically regarding leakage detection and water quality issues. The IFA recommended that the District apply for funding through the SIPP program. Assisted water system with the completion of the Letter of Interest for the IFA SIPP funding program. ACTION NEEDED: Assist with further planning or funding applications, as needed. | ||
