| Details: | SUMMARY: TCR & NO3 M&R - Technical Assistance DETAILS: On 11/1/16, at approximately 10am, Mr. Nunn sent us an e-mail requesting that we contact him via phone. We contacted Mr. Nunn via phone at approximately 10:30am. During our conversation, Mr. Nunn expressed frustration with the newly assigned monthly ‘total-coliform’ monitoring schedule at his public water system. We restated that the new schedule was required under rule.At approximately 12 noon, Mr. Nunn sent another e-mail requesting clarification regarding a letter sent to him by the OHA, DWS program (a copy of the letter was attached to the e-mail). The letter appeared to be a reminder to submit a Nitrate sample before the end of the year and may have caused confusion being received at the same time our recent letter regarding TCR monitoring was received. We explained that the NO3 test and the TCR tests are separate and are on separate schedules-- the TCR monthly monitoring schedule was still in place. ACTION NEEDED: Begin monthly coliform monitoring beginning in November, 2016. Collect a Nitrate (NO3) water test sample before the end of 2016. | ||
