| Details: | System has incurred 10 low pH excursions below 7.2 minimum in past six months. As a result, a corrosion control violation has occurred. System had issues with soda ash feed pump in March, and had to re-dial the pump and create new soda ash chemical solution. This combined with the temporary use of the emergency surface water source in April and May, caused issues keeping the pH up. Since re-creating new solution and updating pump, pH levels have stabilized. System went off surface water source and back to groundwater source on May 12. As a result of violation: system needs to return to two six month rounds of lead and copper at 10 sites, with pH in distribution every 6 months. System will need to post a tier 2 public notice for violation in next 30 days, with copy to DWS. DWS and Clackamas County to discuss alkalinity monitoring in upcoming water system survey scheduled for 2021, for soda ash injection. | ||
