| Details: | SUMMARY: Repeat Samples Reported as TC+ DETAILS: On 10/21 I received an alert from DWP compliance that the repeat samples were TC+. The operator, Mr. Gebhart, and the lab confirmed that 2/3 repeat distribution samples and the triggered source sample were TC+ and E-coli positive. I notified DWP compliance that I thought this alert was in error. DWP compliance reissued the alert with the correct data. I instructed Mr. Gebhart to move forward with shock chlorination remediation which was the incorrect instructions. He should have been instructed to take five confirmation source samples. Mr. Gebhart in fact shocked chlorinated per my direction. I worked with Mr. Gebhart to flush the system, test for 0 ppm residual chlorine and then obtain the confirmation samples which he did. A Boil Water Notice was issued to the residents. ACTION NEEDED: Wait for the results of the confirmation samples. | ||
