| Details: | SUMMARY: Sanitary Well Seal? DETAILS: Spoke to Judy and she said she questioned if there was a sanitary seal for the well as a rope was protruding to allow the pump to be easily pulled. Advised to disinfect the well and system at 50 ppm of chlorine for 6 hours minimum-- (2) thoroughly flush the system-- (3) eliminate the pull rope and make sure the seal is intact-- (4) allow routine use for several days-- and collect 4 routine samples in December. This will hopefully help determine if disinfection is needed or not. I previously provided link to DWS website with plan review instructions. ACTION NEEDED: Disinfect-- collect 4 routine samples in December-- consider results in regards to need of disinfection. | ||
