Details: | SUMMARY: Jackson County Received an Illness Complaint and was Informed that the Boil Water Notice was Lifted (Prematurely) DETAILS: 11-14-16 --- Lindsey (541-951-2575) called to inform our office that she brought her child to a physician who expressed concern the child contracted a disease from the water system at Indian Trail (which has been on a boil water order since 11-3-16). Lindsey then informed me that Del Hild lifted the boil order on 11-7-16. I tried, unsuccessfully, to reach Del Hild and then called Neilson Research where Alex Smith informed me they have not received any samples from Indian Trail since 11-2-16: this means Del lifted the boil notice without obtaining coliform-free samples first. I called Lindsey back and advised her the boil notice is still in effect, filled out a new boil water notice and drove up to Indian Trail where I hand delivered the boil notice to each unit (except 400 which is on its own well).11-16-16 --- Del informed me he collected follow-up samples. ACTION NEEDED: Clean samples need to be obtained before the boil notice can be lifted. |
