Details:	SUMMARY: MPA TESTING DETAILS: The City of Richland owns and operates a groundwater (under the influence) system that provides water to 175 connections. Water from Eagle Creek enters the system through an infiltration gallery. The system has a natural filtration credit and disinfection with sodium hypochlorite. Water travels from the infiltration and disinfection system from New Bridge to the City of Richland’s elevated reservoir. The Circuit Rider was contacted by the City to aid with collection of an MPA sample to help determine if the system is under the direct influence of surface water. The required sample location for the MPA test is such that a specific sampling method, using battery powered pumping, had to be designed and built. Corresponded with DWS staff. Devised and constructed MPA collection method. Collected MPA sample and shipped to lab for analysis. ACTION NEEDED: Complete collection of additional MPA samples, as needed.
