| Details: | SUMMARY: Follow up to November 2016 water system survey DETAILS: Darryl updated me on the status of addressing the three significant deficiencies from the 11/28/16 water system survey report, in advance of written correspondence, which will be coming in the next week or so, due to extreme weather issues. Duct tape is covering the seal of the opening in the Dutch Canyon wellhead, as a temporary measure. A more permanent measure of sealing the opening, which is inside a wellhouse, will be completed as other improvements to the wellhead are being made. The City has completed the distribution system under certified operator protocol. The City discussed with DWS the means for measuring the amount of fluoride added, the quantity of water treated, and the level of fluoride or dose in the treated water, at both Keys and Miller Rd plants on a daily basis. ACTION NEEDED: City to submit written documentation verifying the above, with an estimated completion date for correction of any outstanding deficiencies in the next week or so. | ||
