| Details: | At 4:53 PM I received an OERS report number 2021-1380 regarding the unintended release of chlorine dioxide on the ground and into the sewage system at Georgia Pacific - Wauna Mill located in Clatsop County at 92326 Taylorville Rd., Clatskanie, OR 97016. The release has been stopped although it may give off some vapor. I called and spoke to Michael Burghardt at 503-369-2311 who was listed as the contact for Georgia Pacific on the OERS report and he assured me that the spill would not affect water quality in the Columbia River or the Mill's water system. I provided my name and phone number in case Michael had any follow-up questions. I called and spoke with Stephanie Vanderweide at 316-259-1718 who also confirmed that the water system was unaffected. | ||
