| Details: | SUMMARY: Localized low pressure boil water notice DETAILS: Crystal Springs issued a localized boil water notice due to a loss in positive pressure for approximately 35 homes that occurred in the evening of 3/7. A main break in the upper areas of the distribution system caused a loss in pressure in this area of the system. System following DWS BMPs to fix break, restore service, flush affected area, ensure adequate pressure and chlorine residuals and collect a representative set of coliform bacteria samples. Residents were notified via phone calls and through radio broadcasting.ActionNeeded=District to consult with DWS after hearing back on coliform samples to discuss lifting the localized boil water notice. Update 3/9/17 2pm: Fred called to notify me that 4 colfiorm samples came back absent with a good chlorine residual. Boil water notice lifted and residents notified. | ||
