| Details: | SUMMARY: Phthalate detection DETAILS: An alert was received that the city had a phthalate detection of 0.0008 mg/L in a sample collected on February 21st at Well 5 (EP-E). The detection limit is 0.0006 mg/L. I spoke with Dustan about collecting a confirmation sample. The confirmation and original results will be averaged to determine if the detection is at or above the detection limit. A confirmation sample collected on March 29th was non-detect. An average of the original and confirmation samples is 0.0004 mg/L which is below the minimum detection limit of 0.0006 mg/L. No additional sampling is required. ACTION NEEDED: No further action. |
