| Details: | SUMMARY: Alert: Phone Conversation, Letter - Nitrate Action Level Alert DETAILS: Following receipt of an ‘Action Level’ Alert for Nitrate at Odell Water Company and a consultation with the Oregon Health Authority, we contacted Odell Water Company on 5/1/13 and informed them of the requirement to begin quarterly sampling for nitrate for one calendar year as required by OAR: 333-061-0036(2)(C).Following that conversation, the Oregon Health Authority revised their recommendation to begin quarterly sampling. We contacted Odell Water Company via phone on 5/1/13 and left a voice message. On 5/3/13 we drafted and sent a letter explaining their final determination regarding their nitrate sampling. ACTION NEEDED: The letter said:"…Since your Nitrate results have remained relatively constant for some time, you may remain on ‘annual’ monitoring even though the test result is more than 50% of the MCL…" | ||
