| Details: | SUMMARY: Alert for Coliform DETAILS: Visited with Russ and reviewed the systems recent results. It appears that SRC-AA is a possible issue for the firm. Russ has agreed to discontinue using SRC-AA at this time and will shock SRC-AB and let the chlorine sit overnight in the distribution system on Sunday, February 5th. Then the system will be flushed and samples taken on Thursday, February 9th-- one at SRC-AB and three in the distribution system, one of which will include the triple sink, which was recently positive for TC. ACTION NEEDED: Shock system Sunday and resample SRC-AB and distribution on Thursday. Continue to monitor next month the distribution. If things continue to look ok, then consider permanently discontinuing the use of SRC-AA or have a professional look at the issue with SRC-AA that is possibly causing the TC. | ||
