Details: | SUMMARY: Follow Up Confirmed E.coli in Well DETAILS: Spoke by phone to Raymond Page who is responsible for potable water treatment for City of Brookings and Salmon Run Golf Course also owned by the City of Brookings. He stated the boil notice was still in-place and the golf course vendor had received it. I advised employing means to provide 4-log viral disinfection as soon as practical to alleviate the necessity of the boil notice and directed him to initiate plan review. I advised to follow through on the MPA because dry season may make doing so problematic. MPA results might also affect the choice for long term treatment strategy. He noted that no response had been received for an MPA assistance request about the time of the new year (presumably to the circuit rider). I advised that he contact the circuit rider directly, Civil West Engineering, and request MPA aid. ACTION NEEDED: Employ 4-log viral disinfectionInitiate MPADetermine frequency to repost a tier 1 public notice. |
