| Details: | SUMMARY: reference sensor light for UV unit DETAILS: Jim said they have decided to order a 2nd light sensor for the new UV unit so that they can do the required monthly monitoring of its intensity (checking the duty sensor versus a reference sensor). That will enable them to switch over to UV as their primary disinfection method, and allow them to start using the UV version of the monthly surface water treatment report rather than the chlorine one. I emailed him what hell need to record regarding the monthly sensor checks for his own internal records, where to write the % difference between the sensors on the monthly operating report, and reminded him of the 2 data slots on the UV page that are required to be filled in (the sensor check being one of them). I re-sent the UV monthly reporting form that I had previously customized for the Belloni Boys Ranch system. Jim says the UV unit has been up and running for a couple months already. ACTION NEEDED: Wait to hear when they have received the 2nd sensor and may start the monthly checks of their current light sensor versus a reference sensor. | ||
