| Details: | SUMMARY: Plan Review Follow Up DETAILS: Site visit following installation of nitrate treatment (PR 22-2017) to ensure to plan and no by-pass. Unit installed in shed for well # 1 (south well) and consists of two kinetico tanks as well as a water softener. There is no by-pass capability and water from the well must run through the unit prior to distribution system. Both a pre and post treatment sample tap are present. ACTION NEEDED: Take another round of nitrate samples from both wells after July 1 (third quarter). If both are under the MCL, can go back to annual sampling for both. Latest results in March/April were ND post treatement for well #1 and ND and 2.8 for well #2 without treatement. If well #2 would ever exceed 10mg/L, treatment would have to be installed on it as well. | ||
