| Details: | 6/16/21: System reached out to DWS staff inquiring about temporarily ceasing prechlorination to stretch sodium hypochlorite supply in response to the potential future chlorine supply shortage. 6/17/21: System ceased prechlorination on 6/16/21, plans to closely monitor residuals, and will keep DWS staff updated. 6/23/21: Current on-site sodium hypochlorite inventory is 378 gallons. A 500 gallon delivery of 12.5% sodium hypochlorite is expected tomorrow (6.24.21) and with this shipment the system's chlorine supply is expected to last until around July 21, 2021. 6/29/21: On 6/22 the system increased finished water chlorine residual target from 0.6 mg/L to 0.9 mg/L and slowly stepped back in to prechlorinating on 6.24.21 |
