| Details: | SUMMARY: TC Positive Alert Response DETAILS: Received alert for TC positive result from a routine sample collected on 8/9/17. Spoke with Peg. She stated that she had treated the well on Saturday after hearing of the positive result from the lab. I advised her that any treatment should only be done after consulting with DWS, and that the required repeat and source samples should be collected before any treatment is considered. Peg stated that she ran the water at the sample tap for about 10 minutes, but the water never got cold. They are using about 50,000 gallons per month now. Peg said she will collect the three repeat samples and the triggered source sample after the chlorine is flushed out of the system, likely next Monday. She does have a chlorine test kit to make sure the chlorine is gone before sampling. ACTION NEEDED: System to flush, collect repeat and source samples. Further action will be based on those results. | ||
