Details: SUMMARY: Routine Sample Taken 4/8/2015 Positive for Fecal Coliform Bacteria DETAILS: Called Steve Ellis.Steve plans to superchlorinate the well immediately. Emailed him directions. Called Laura Burns about chlorinating before taking the repeat samples. She talked to Dave Leland who thought that was OK in this case. There are a total of 10 people on the system now. The RV Park is in the process of shutting down to allow the bathrooms to be completely remodeled.Steve will take 4 repeat samples from the distribution line and 1 source water assessment from the well head ASAP. He has called the lab and expects to send in repeat samples Wednesday April 15. If any REPEAT samples are positive, he will do Boil Water Public Notice Tier 1. He will find the problem and get the E. coli out of the water. He will take 5 temporary routine samples in May 2015. ACTION NEEDED: April 10, 2015 email sent:Hi SteveYou are going to take 4 repeat samples and 1 source water assessment ASAP.If any REPEAT samples are positive for E. coli, a BOIL WATER Tier 1 Public Notice is required.
