| Details: | SUMMARY: OEL Report received DETAILS: Received a completed operational evaluation level (OEL) reporting form today, completed by their distribution DRC Duane Eckhoff. It was due by August 9th, so late. [Late submission is a Tier 3 violation, which does not require public notice other than listing it in the Consumer Confidence Report for 2017.] The steps identified in the OEL report to reduce DBP exceedances in the future were: additional flushing of the distribution, and maintaining lower residual levels. Informed Terrie that to reduce their quarterly DBP monitoring frequency to annual in the future, they would have to report 4 consecutive quarters where the running annual averages were not just below the MCL, but a little less than that (less than 0.060 mg/L for TTHM and 0.045 for HAA5). ACTION NEEDED: Monitor subsequent DBP results. System is close to becoming a persistent non-complier due to two consecutive quarters of DBP violations (where average > MCL). Each is a 5-point violation. | ||
