| Details: | SUMMARY: No alkalinity minimum set DETAILS: Coos Bay North Bend had been contacted by DWS this year to conduct alkalinity monitoring in tandem with their lead and copper monitoring in 2017. We received two sets of alkalinity results from the entry point and 10 distribution sites, collected approximately a month apart. But because CBNB has never exceeded the action level in lead or copper, and has less than 50,000 population, there is no need to set a minimum for pH or alkalinity at this time. They had been notified because they do adjust pH, but the purpose is for efficacy of the chloramine treatment, not for corrosion control. ACTION NEEDED: Update treatment code/purpose in database | ||
