| Details: | Andy informed me as of 6/21, City has 12 days of sodium hypochlorite supply with an additional 15 days of calcium hypochlorite at the wastewater plant, that could be used as a back-up. Calcium hypochlorite not used before at the water plant, but Andy confident it can be used as its NSF 60 and City will closely watch chemicial feed rate and keep public notified of the change. City also working to conserve current supply by lowering chlorine feed slightly to still meet CTs and maintain residual in far ends of system, and shut off leaky hydrant and use water truck for any fire supply. City coordinating with ORWARN and other utilities to inquire about reserve supply ahead of any public water conservation messaging. 6/24 update: per Andy City received 400 gallons of liquid chlorine, 20 to 30 days additional supply, pushing total supply to 40 to 60 days. | ||
