Details: | SUMMARY: Tracer Study DETAILS: 2/3/17 - CT Tracer Study required per OHA.2/3/17 - Data received by HECO Engineers was provided the data from OHA about a tracer study needed for the City of Myrtle Creek, OR. 2/9/17 @ 4:10 PM (MST), Called Sean Negherbon, City Administrator for the City of Myrtle Creek. Sean was busy, so we left a message with the receptionist to have him contact us about the tracer study needed for their water system. We did not hear back from Sean. 2/24/17, HECO again called Sean to discuss the needed tracer study. Sean was not available, so we sent an email to Sean and the Public Works Director – Quinn Pickering about the tracer study. 2/27/17, HECO received a phone call from Sean. Sean indicated that the City was having water intake problems, which is only allowing about 1 million gallons per day coming into their system. The CT tracer study setup with OHA requires the system to run at maximum capacity (2 million per day) to perform the study. It was determined that it is best to wait until the water system is fully operational with a capacity of 2 MGD before the CT tracer study is completed. Sean also emailed back to us with this same conclusion. ACTION NEEDED: Once the City of Myrtle Creek gets the water intake system operational, they are to contact us to schedule a time for preforming the CT Study. |
