| Details: | Informed Oralia that the disinfection residual didn't meet the minimum for 4-log disinfection 7 days in the month of May. I told her that a public notice would be required and she would need to send a copy to me within 30 days. A copy of public notice was sent in today (6/22) and I forwarded it to the state. It was recommended that Oralia have the pump company that installed the chlorinator come out and take a look at it to ensure it is functioning properly. **UPDATE 6/25/21** Oralia informed me that they had HPS come out and take a look at the chlorinator. There is a broken part that it needs to function properly. HPS did not install chlorinator so they can't repair it. The manufacturer stated that they could come to repair it in 6-8 weeks. Operator is working to find someone to come out sooner. Residents and staff have been notified of the situation. Operator will continue to monitor residuals. |
