| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive Total Coliform DETAILS: I called on 8/14/17 and talked to Warren Bailey, Quality Assurance Manager, regarding the repeat positive total coliform result from sample taken 8/9/17. Mr. Bailey was informed that the water system would be receiving a letter and Level 1 coliform investigation form to complete from Drinking Water Services and return to the Oregon Department of Agriculture Food Safety Program. The system will then correct any deficiencies found through the investigation, shock treat the system and take 3 routine samples in September. The repeat sample taken on 8/9/17 labeled Well Faucet Up should have been labeled as a Triggered Source sample. Mr. Bailey was instructed to take a repeat sample distribution sample near the positive total coliform site. ACTION NEEDED: Complete the Level 1 coliform investigation form-- correct any deficiencies found during the investigation, shock treat the system and take 3 routine samples in September. | ||
