| Details: | SUMMARY: Nitrate Exceeded 50% of the MCL DETAILS: I spoke with Anna Plaisted. She admitted that the high results of nitrate are not what she expects of her ion exchange system. She stated that the company that installed the system will be onsite next week to service the UV system. I have forwarded some information regarding how nitrate ion exchange systems typically work.( https ://www.watertechonline.com/removing-nitrates-with-ion-exchange/ ) ACTION NEEDED: I will continue to forward resources as I locate them to Anna at Northwest Hazelnut to help prepare her for interacting with their technicians. I suspect that some water quality parameter is making the system ineffective or that the recharge system is not operating properly. | ||
